JOIN US FOR THE FOURTH ANNUAL WISCONSIN WORKER'S COMPENSATION COLLEGE

WCSI is hosting our Fourth Worker's Compensation College October 16th-18th, 2023 at The Heidel House Hotel & Conference Center in Green Lake. Join us in this opportunity for learning, networking and fun in a great Wisconsin vacation venue!

Attendees at the College will follow the fictitious worker's compensation claims of  Dwight Schrute v. Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, Inc. and Quaker Society Mutual Insurance Company and Stanley Hudson v. Dunder Mifflin and Quaker Society Mutual from alleged injuries to mock hearing. Was Stanley Hudson subjected to “extraordinary stress” due to the “peculiar” managerial style of Branch Manager Michael Scott, and office events culminating in the “hijinks” of co-worked Dwight Schute during CPR training?  Did Dwight Schrute deviate from the course of his employment when he (and Scott) drove to Schrute Farms for “beet squeezings” after being disciplined at corporate headquarters rather than driving directly back to the Oshkosh branch?  The only way to know is to attend this year’s event!

ABOUT THE WORKER'S COMPENSATION COLLEGE

The College is a two-day event, with instruction beginning Tuesday morning, October 17, and ending Wednesday afternoon, October 18. The program includes discussion sessions, mock examinations and cross-examinations of medical, psychological and vocational experts, and a panel discussion on settlements. It will culminate with a two-hour mock worker's compensation hearing. The faculty includes experienced attorneys, doctors, psychologists, vocational consultants and administrative law judges.

Application for continuing education credits for human resource, insurance claims and legal professionals has been made. A display area for vendor booths will be available adjacent to the instructional area.
